List of Changes

New Features

  • Arable Web now retains language preference in the Arable database. Users can now ‘Save’ their language preference from the list of available languages from the ‘Account’ section and the change will be maintained in the database.
  • A new ‘Seasons’ feature flag is now available allowing an Organization or User the ability to input growing season information by Days instead of predefined GDD & growth stages by the selected crop/varietal. If the feature flag for the Org is enabled, the users of the org can create Seasons by “Days” - the same applies for specific users when the feature flag is enabled. This feature is only for the creation of the Season and once the Season is created, any user will be able to edit the season while in “Days” mode.
  • A new Growing season by Days addition allows users to create Seasons by Days or by GDD. Users who have the feature enabled can now create seasons by days. Users can create a season for there site in ‘Days mode’ by selecting the option present under the ‘Growth Stage Tracking’ and  'Days from Start Date’. While in the Days mode, the calculated cumulative GDD values will be provided based on the number days entered for the selected ‘Growth Stages’
  • A new ‘Delayed Data Delivery’ message is updated and now reads as “{device_id} at {site_name} is offline. Please check your device.”
  • Arable Web performance of the Alert Settings Page has been improved.
  • Arable Web performance when editing a team from the Teams Page has been improved.
  • An update to Alert Settings whereby the default Tilt alert threshold is updated from 10 degree to 15. This default threshold value will now be 15 degrees for existing organizations and also any new organizations.
  • For Distributors in Arable Web, when moving devices from Customer to the Distributor org or vice versa, the ‘Search Devices’ option is available for the selected organization Under the ‘Source’ organization.
  • Zoom level management on Multi-site water for all the tabs has been implemented for an overall UI performance enhancement.
  • Performance improvement of the Vision API
  • For Vision, the date filters (10days, 30 days) have been removed. Now users will be able to select between “All Images” and “Archived Images” for easier navigating.

Defect Fixes

  • System is now recognizing Soil probe depths after reconnection
  • Zoom management on Water Multi-site UI has been improved and updated
  • Water Single Site Soil Moisture Graph now shows values for in/ft
  • Edit Team load time for OrgAdmins has been improved
  • Limitation in generating hourly graphs on platform has been corrected
  • Performance on Arable Web is has been improved for Alert Settings
  • The wind direction arrow has been corrected throughout the application so it points towards where the wind is blowing to.
  • GDD values are now populating in csv export after creating season
  • For the Single Site and Multi Site views of water, the Irrigation to Replace ETc value did not populate if no Irrigation event had taken place within the previous seven days for previous release. This is now resolved.

Known Issues

  • It is only possible to assign a new deployment to one Team in the Map page. Assigning to a second team has to be done from the Teams page.
  • Wind source appearing as ''local data'' in the last row of the CSV hourly data
  • For the Multi-site Views, the Last Irrigation Runtime is displaying the hours for the last irrigation event that took place. If a given day had multiple irrigated events, the display would only be of the most recent one, not the aggregation for the day.
  • For Irrigation events, if a flow rate was improperly configured there is no way to go back and correct previous readings with a new flow rate to reflect accurate applied irrigation measurements.
  • The local Mark max/min temperature for the hour is taken as the max/min of all 5-min interval readings during that hour. Meanwhile, the current temperature is the average for the last hour, creating a discrepancy between the two values during weather alerts. We are investigating whether relying on a 5-min interval for Tmin/Tmax is vulnerable to noise, and if so, will change this algorithm.
  • Currently the NDVI measurement and graph do not show or deal with a drop due to temporary cloudy days. To circumvent any misunderstandings, users can also review the solar radiation with the two-measurement graph feature. A future enhancement to incorporate cloud cover when calculating NDVI is expected.
  • Export buttons in spanish translations appear in English language
  • During upgrade of the Arable Web it is possible that the new translation files are not loaded immediately. A workaround is to clear cache from the browser.
  • The Site card in the Site page shows the "Create Season" option even in the case that an existing season is present. We plan to correct this in the next upcoming release.
  • The NDVI value is not presented in a consistent way across the Arable Mobile. Use the information in the sites detailed page for reference for now.
